Sourcing
This blend originates from:
This coffee is grown in the rich volcanic soils of the Santa Rosa Valleys, located in the South Central region of Guatemala. Coffee is grown in 20 out of the 22 departments in Guatemala, with over 250,000 acres dedicated to coffee production across the country, resulting in coffee being Guatemala's largest export. Guatemala produces some of the finest and most distinct coffee in the world.
This coffee is grown in South Western Minas Gerais, Cerrado region where approximately 140,000 hectares are dedicated to coffee production. This region is renowned for its homogeneous climate and altitude with an average temperature of 20°C and altitudes ranging from 900 to 1,250 meters above sea level, perfect for growing coffee.
Originating from the Lake Toba region in North Western Sumatra, this coffee is grown at altitudes ranging from 1500 - 1800 metres above sea level. Indonesian coffee cultivation began in the late 1600s and has played a big role in the countries growth since, with a staggering 1.2 million hectares dedicated to the plant across the country. Lake Toba is one of the world's deepest lakes, reaching depths of 505 metres and Sumatra itself is the largest island in Indonesia, also home to the Sumatran Tiger.
